Allied WWI Water Cooled Inline Engine
The Hispano-Suiza 8Ab was a V8 water-cooled aero engine evolved from the earlier 'A' type employing an increased compression ratio yielding increased power rated at 182 hp. This powerplant was used in many WWI Allied aircraft including the SPAD S.VII. Kit features highly detailed engine (with separately molded carburetor, exhaust manifolds, fuel and cooling lines and magnetos), optional 2-bladed propeller, display stand and photo-etch details (including ignition harnesses, propeller flanges, data plate and nameplate).
